FC Porto World Camp
1. Legal responsibility
We, the undersigned, confirm that we are the parent(s) or legal guardian(s) of the participant registered in the FC Porto World Camp and are legally authorized to accept these terms on their behalf.
2. Physical fitness and assumption of risk
We confirm that the participant is physically and mentally fit to take part in camp activities.
We acknowledge that participation in soccer involves inherent risks, including but not limited to physical contact, falls, weather conditions (heat, humidity, rain), and field or facility conditions.
Participation is voluntary, and all such risks are understood and accepted.
3. Medical authorization
We authorize the FC Porto World Camp to seek appropriate medical care for the participant in the event of accident, injury, or illness during the camp.
Parents or legal guardians remain fully responsible for all medical costs, except for those covered by the camp’s supplementary medical coverage, which acts only as secondary insurance to the participant’s personal medical insurance.
4. Release of liability
We hereby waive, release, and discharge the FC Porto World Camp, IA Soccer, and their partners, directors, officers, employees, coaches, and representatives from any and all claims or liabilities for injury, loss, or damage arising from participation in the camp, whether or not caused by negligence.
No refunds will be issued in the event of injury or medical inability to continue participation during the camp.
5. Use of image and media
We grant permission for the FC Porto World Camp and IA Soccer to use photographs, images, and video recordings of the participant for institutional and promotional purposes.
6. Weather conditions
In the event of adverse weather after camp activities have begun, participants will be removed from the field and directed to the designated safety area. If the camp is interrupted or cancelled, parents must pick up their child. The camp does not provide indoor facilities.
7. Cancellation and refund policy
The registration deposit is non-refundable under all circumstances, as it secures the participant’s spot in the camp.
Any additional payments made beyond the initial deposit may be eligible for a partial refund according to the following schedule:
• More than 90 days before camp start: 75% refund of payments made beyond the deposit
• 60–89 days before camp start: 50% refund of payments made beyond the deposit
• 30–59 days before camp start: 25% refund of payments made beyond the deposit
• 15 days or less before camp start: no refund
In cases of injury or exceptional family situations, credits for future programs may be considered at the discretion of IA Soccer.
Alternatively, fees may be credited toward a future camp or transferred to another participant, valid for 12 months, subject to availability.
The FC Porto World Camp reserves the right to modify or cancel a camp due to operational reasons, including insufficient registration. If cancelled by the organization, a full refund will be issued or participants may transfer to another available camp.
Liability in the event of cancellation is limited strictly to the camp fee paid. No additional costs or compensation will be provided.
If the camp location or schedule changes with less than 10 days’ notice, participants may request a refund. Any new location will be within 20 miles (32 km) of the original venue.
8. Force majeure
The FC Porto World Camp shall not be held liable for cancellations or interruptions due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to pandemics, war, labor disputes, government actions, or extreme weather conditions. No refunds will be issued in such cases.
9. Contact
All refund requests and questions regarding this waiver must be submitted in writing through the camp’s official contact channels.
